Reverend Doctor Daris S. Bultena, Pastor

Minister of Word and Sacrament

Reverend Dr. Daris BultenaDr. Bultena is originally from South Dakota and graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in Political Science and Public Administration. He was a Legislative Aid with the Commerce Committee, U. S. Senate. He received his Master of Divinity degree in June 1990 from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey, and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Union Theological Seminary-PSCE. Prior to accepting the call of Good Shepherd in April of 1998, he was Pastor of Melrose Carmel Presbyterian Church in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Before that he was a Student Intern at Warminster Presbyterian Church in Warminster, Pennsylvania.


The Reverend Dr. Bultena currently serves as chair of the Presbytery's Council and has just concluded a term as the Presbytery Moderator.  His passion is seeing churches grow and be healthy systems as well as communities that are apostolic.  He is currently working on a project with congregational vision called "Articulative Congregations."
